Most products still treat emotion as a colour: green for success, red for error, a burst of confetti for a completed form. That is not emotion. That is signage.
Designing for emotions in 2060 means designing for the body. A traveller landing at night does not need delight. They need clarity, a quiet confirmation, a car that is where it said it would be. A reader opening a magazine does not need a notification. They need a headline that holds.
Tunisian hospitality already knew this. The glass of water before the conversation. The shade before the view. Digital teams are finally translating that sequence into screens.
Designing for emotions in 2060 means designing for the body.
The emotional future is not more feeling on the interface. It is less friction in the world. If a product makes someone calmer at the door of a new city, it has done enough.
